On 16 November 2025, I was the keynote speaker at the World Anti-Extremism Network’s Toronto Democracy Forum. I was there at the invitation of my good friend and MLI Senior Fellow, the courageous Khalid Ramizy. My topic was, “Can Nice Canada Make It in a Nasty World? Surviving Great Power Jockeying, Foreign Interference and Unscrupulous Authoritarians.”
