On 23 March 2018, Ryerson history professor Patrice Dutil and I did a podcast on how modern Canadians should feel about Canadian history. This segment in the series Pod Bless Canada was prepared in the context of various important historical figures (e.g Sir John A. Macdonald, Sir Hector Langevin and Lord Cornwallis) having recently been banished in various ways for having committed “atrocities” or “crimes” (by modern standards) during their tenure.
