On the eve of US President Joe Biden’s visit to Canada, on 23 March 2023 I wrote an op-ed for Real Clear Politics, the Washington-based site for all things political in the US. In the op-ed I asked if Canada is willing and able to cleanse its institutions of the taint of corruption, and to rejoin its traditional partners in a calm but firm commitment to the security, intelligence, and military alliance that is the liberal democracies’ last best hope?
