Rising Aboriginal expectations, disappointing results = recipe for conflict

Pledges by the Liberals during the last federal election sent expectations about progress on Indigenous affairs soaring. But, as my colleague Ken Coates and I argued for iPolitics, Ottawa’s failure to deliver with results has brought sorrow and frustration, meaning that anger is increasingly displacing hope in many communities.
