On 21 September 2022 the National Post launched a new series on the New World Disorder and asked me to write the inaugural piece. I am sorry to say that I felt constrained to write that Canada has devolved into a childish country incapable of solving big problems.
Here is how I began the essay:
In the coming new world disorder, Saint Paul’s will be the key insight: in his biblical Epistle to the Corinthians, he famously wrote, “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.”
