My good friend Patrice Dutil, a professor at Ryerson and a Senior Fellow at MLI, and I were invited by the Toronto Star to contribute to their regular debate series in March, 2021. The topic was whether Canada should abandon its constitutional monarchy. Patrice and I took the No side, arguing that our constitutional arrangements had stood Canada in good stead and should be continued.
