Reclaiming the University: Free speech, institutional neutrality, anti-Semitism; 29 April 2025

Former long-time President of the University of Saskatchewan, my good friend Peter MacKinnon, has been busy defending the traditional idea of the university as the home of disinterested inquiry and the non-political maintenance of the entire body of human knowledge in his role as MLI Senior Fellow. on 29 April 2025 he was in Ottawa and we did a roundtable with him and a number of people interested in these themes. I had to honour of introducing Peter and participating in the discussion that followed his remarks.
