Canada: Promised Land or Broken Promise?

It was a great honour to spend some time with Andria Spindel of the Canadian Antisemitism Education Foundation to talk about the genesis of MLI’s Promised Land project on Israel and the Middle East, antisemitism, extremism and radical Islam. As I explain in the interview the Promised Land of the title isn’t Israel, but rather Canada. The promise is the one that Canada makes to its citizens, whether native-born or newcomers, of the kind of country we will be and how each of us will be treated. I contend that we are falling down on these promises in the treatment that has been meted out to Canada’s Jewish minority since the 7th of October 2023. Watch the video to find out more!
